Would Kettlebell Weights Be Useful For Leon Kennedy?

By Rob Sutter

After participating in "Resident Evil 4" yesterday, it's dawned on me just how much Leon Kennedy has to suffer through. The principal character of the game seems to be burdened - to say the least - not just with a lot of afflicted zombie-like humans but protecting Ashley, the daughter of the game's president. For the most part, Kennedy does his job well but I think that he could stand to be even stronger. This is why I advocate the usage of kettlebell weights more than just about anything else.

Being a certified ex-police officer in his own right, Kennedy knows how to support himself. Like any officer you may think of, he's a good shot with a gun and he will be able to take the fight to just about any supernatural or infected monster that stands in his way. He's also helpful in terms of hand-to-hand combat, being able to switch between the two styles of battle in a seamless way. Unfortunately, I can't help but feel as though he's routinely met with beings stronger than he is.

One of the more notable villains in the game is Jack Krauser, who was once an acquaintance of Kennedy's as well as his partner. However, during the time of the game, it was learned that he faked his own death and he came back far stronger than he ever was before, thanks to the a deal he had made with the game's true leading antagonist, Albert Wesker. Add in the fact that Krauser is able to mutate so that his arm becomes a deadly blade and it's clear that he is very much a challenge.

Kennedy has a great level of power to consider and I think that, no matter what limits he has as a human, it can be expanded. Kettlebell weights are the fashion which I recommend since they work to help the body as a whole without focusing on a single idea. Everyone has a certain capacity in which they can become strong but who's to say that it can't be challenged? I believe that this can be the case, especially when you have names along the lines of Lorna supporting said exercises.

Kennedy proves to be more of the more sturdy action heroes seen in gaming but he is still very much human. He's going to encounter mutated creatures of likes of which we can only imagine in the world that we live in today. The drawback is that Kennedy only has so much in the way of security, seeing as how manmade weapons are his only means of safeguarding himself against such beings. When up against such odds, he could use all of the strength he can rally.
