Physically speaking, invasive procedures are really a pain. It can also be a pain in some other areas like the after care. Thus, if you are availing this procedure, you have to make sure to think about the after care too. You have to remember your post op requirements so that you do not feel too troubled for getting the gastric bypass surgery in Mexico.

When it comes to the after care tips, the first thing you have to be aware of is the vitamins your body needs. Since you are not allowed to eat as much as you can, then you have to supplement vitamins to ensure that you get the proper nutrition your body needs. There are multivitamins you need to take so that you stay healthy despite the limited food you can eat.

Water is crucial to recuperation. Thus, you have to drink water as much as you can on an everyday basis. This should help you stay hydrated. Even though it might be a bit difficult because technically you have a reduced stomach size, you should still keep yourself hydrated so that you can avoid complications.

Food with high fat and sugar content are not allowed during post op. Thus, you have to stay away from them. Carbonated and alcoholic drinks must be avoided at all cost. These are full of empty calories and will simply upset the stomach. They are not recommended while you are on your way to having your new stomach and your small intestines. You should be able to get an explanation from your doctor as to why you should avoid these drinks.

Do not forget to do some light exercises. This should be extremely helpful for you. Once you are capable of getting out into the sun, then you should try to walk a bit around the yard. You can even do so around the neighborhood. By exercising, you can prevent the muscles from getting stiff. Avoid rigorous exercises though.

Your body is your boss. Thus, you need to listen to it. Only eat food when you are actually hungry. Stop eating when you are already full. Do not be greedy when it comes to food, especially after the operation because it will just add stress to your stomach. If you can, you should ask for a diet from your doctor.

You can expect some changes after getting the said operation. Of course, these changes are just small ones. It does not necessarily change your whole life. However, it will be good if the said operation can help you think about starting to take good care of your body.
